Today's feature is a continuation of Tuesday's post...so get ready to see the awesome photos of how the ring transforms from a rough, dull unfinished piece of metal to a sparkly and beautiful engagement ring!
Cut off the sprue....

Just barely the beginning of grinding off bubbles and starting to smooth things out. Next time you see it, it will look totally different, smooth, shiny and perfect! After plenty of careful hand work, it will sit in a tumbler overnight that polishes it amazingly shiny. Got one bent prong too, no problem, that's normal. It will be straightened out.

There is still some fine tuning to do with the prong alignment, polishing, etc.
