Round Brilliant and Sapphire Wedding Set

This morning we have a breathtaking wedding set that symbolizes 23 years of marriage. The engagement ring carries a stunning round brilliant diamond flanked by two round sapphires.  The channel set wedding band boasts round brilliants and the anniversary band contains 6 baguettes with matching blue sapphires. We love the geometrical contrast of the bands, the yellow gold setting, and the mix of stones and cuts.  Wow!

The C's: The center stone is a three stone ring with a Round Brilliant Cut Diamond weighing 1.01 carats, VVS1 in clarity, F color.  On either side, I have a matched pair of AA round faceted, diamond cut natural blue sapphires with a total combined weight of 1.20 carats. and it has 14 SI2 clarity I color diamonds. My anniversary band contains 6 baguettes with matching blue sapphires.

Setting: The center diamond on the engagement ring is set in 14 karat with white gold prongs.

About this ring:  This is my new wedding set after 23 years of marriage. The channel set wedding band is an heirloom and belonged to my mother.

Happy Thanksgiving!  Before the festivities begin, we thought we'd leave you with a delicious wedding set from a fabulous Turkish based New York City boutique - Atelier Minyon.  The rings were crafted overseas in one of their Turkish shops - very authentic! We are loving all the pave and detailing on the bands, the three banded look, and all the sparkle.

We adore this ring and its timeless elegance. We love coming across solitaires with different cuts as the majority of the solitaire rings we see are round brilliants. Insuring Your Engagement Ring

Your engagement ring & wedding band hold a tremendous amount of value in terms of both cost and sentiment, so give yourself some peace of mind and purchase an insurance policy. It’s actually quite easy and affordable and one can expect to pay $1-$2 for every $100 of your ring's value per year.

1. Add the ring to your renters or homeowners insurance policy, also called a “rider” or “extension” to your personal property clause
2. Explore outside insurance options and work with a trusted jewelry insurer

RingSpotters: A Connecticut Wedding

This morning we bring you a lovely fall wedding from one of our RingSpotter brides whose  Princess Cut engagement ring was featured last July.  Married on October 1 at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown Ct, our bride paired a fabulous diamond studded wedding band with her engagement ring to make a perfect set.  We are loving the bridesmaids dresses and fantasizing about putting one on to be a princess for a day!  What a fabulous wedding and a gorgeous bride!
